Best Thermal Camera for Home Inspection Clues

For home inspection, a thermal camera shows surface-temperature patterns. That can point toward missing insulation, air leakage, HVAC imbalance, damp areas, overloaded appliances, or hot wiring connections. It does not directly see water inside walls, certify electrical safety, or replace a licensed inspection.

A handheld camera is simpler when you are walking a house, pointing at vents, scanning ceilings, or checking appliances. Phone modules can work, but the connector and app workflow can slow down casual room-by-room scanning.
